Yoga is my life and as the founder of our four year old Community, I
couldn’t be happier about this incredible journey. I can’t thank the Pedretti
Power Yoga LLC community enough for their wonderful support from the day the
Studio opened on March 26, 2010.
Yoga can be whatever you make of it AND we do not force any aspect of yoga upon
anyone else. Our amazing job is to simply offer students the tools to integrate
yoga into their lives as they see fit. You don’t have to be GOOD to do Yoga;
you just have to do Power Yoga to feel GOOD! Given the chance, yoga can be the
most powerful practice.

YOGA CORE BOOTCAMP – March 8th, 11:30-1:30 p.m. – TWO HOURS OF Core & More & MORE JOY!
20 Minute Asana Practice + 100 minute Core& More = 2 HOUR YOGA BOOTCAMP! You are only as strong as your core! Strengthening your limbs will give you agility and stability in your movements, but building core muscles gives you a deeper seat of “power”. It is inner strength that stabilizes every move you make. Abdominal work is key to any healthy yoga practice because strong abs take unnecessary pressure off your lower back. Your poses become lighter and easier when you generate the effort from that strong core rather than from isolated muscles in your back and limbs. And the nice by product is that you end up with really tones and sculpted abs! (PROPS: Bands, Blocks, Exercise Ball,Weighted Balls, Felt, and more.) COST: $20.00 or ($25 at the door) *Preregistration is required 48 hours in advance.
HIP OPENER AND BACKBENDING WORKSHOP – April 5th 11:30-1:30 p.m. Hip, Hip, Hurray!
It is said that we carry emotions in certain regions of the body; the hips are one such area. By devoting an entire 2 hours to warming up and opening the hips, each participant is given ample opportunity to let go of muscular tension. In addition to releasing traumas stored in the pelvic region & psoas (major hip flexor), having greater mobility and increased flexibility in the hips is the gateway to safely going deeper in backbends and forward folds. As the largest joints of the human body, the hips are a dense, congested area occupied by connective tissues, muscles, bones and don’t forget all those stored emotions.
BACKBENDING POSES – When people age they tend to contract and pull themselves in. But yoga, and especially the spinal work we do in yoga, can actually reverse the aging process. YOU are only as young as your spine is supple! Your energy system is centralized along your spine, and backbends remove blocks of energy stored there. They ignite electricity in your spine and bring your whole being to a healthier realm. Backbends warm the system, increase energy and invigorate us! Allie will lead you through a combination of supine, seated and standing poses, along with some restorative hip openers to progressively go deeper & into more challenging poses in ways that are safe, fun and refreshing! Minimum 4 registered participants to hold workshops. Cost $20 pre-register by 4/3/14 ($25 at the door).
“LIVE MUSIC” with Barb Bazaldua + All Levels Power YOGA ~ March 12, 2014 - 6:30 p.m. Join yoga teacher Allie Pedretti and songwriter acoustic solo artist Barb Bazaldua for an interactive All Levels Yoga class unlike any other! Allie and Barb will create in the moment bringing you inspired vinyasa with live music created in the moment. Expect to laugh, cry (maybe!) and, of course, SWEAT as you move like you've never moved before. All levels welcome!

We are offerring TWO FREE YOGA classes on Saturday to allow our TWO awesome Yoga Teachers in Training to share there passion for Yoga with our Community! Allie will be practicing side-by-side with our Yoga Community while Amanda and Nichelle teach these TWO awesome classes! DROP-IN, bring a friend = FREE!
March 29, 2014 – “KIDS/Family YOGA” from 12:30-1:15 p.m. Bring your entire family to yoga & practice together with Allie! This 45 minute (non-heated) class presents an opportunity to cultivate emotional & physical bonding within your family and the community. "Family Yoga" includes postures for the whole family, including age- and intensity level-appropriate variations to accommodate all of the students in the class & make sure that everyone has fun. Bring anyone you love and have fun! All yogis age 4-12 are welcome in this class. *WAIVER MUST BE ON FILE FOR EACH STUDENT (COST: $7 drop-in for adult -> FREE for children age 4-12. March 29, April 19 & May 10, 2014 from 12:30-1:15 p.m.
March 29, 2014 – 11:15 – 12:00 FREE GUIDED MEDITATION CLASS. Meditation – practice that clears your mind and brings you into the present moment with a sense of clarity and awareness. *Wear comfortable clothing, bring along your mat, blanket or towel to sit on.
