Happiness…the act of finding true joy, is a conscious choice that each of us need to make daily -sometimes even moment to moment. Making the decision to incorporate a mind/body practice into your life requires both consistency and commitment. Over time each Yoga pose will become a total body movement and the routine – though varied - will evolve to becoming as simple as the act of brushing your teeth.

 

Embracing where you are in the present is perhaps the single more important quality for unlocking happiness. Discovering that our body needs -> rest or challenge?  Listening to our mind and allowing ourselves to let go of the negative. These aspects are priceless in our quest for joy. A recent study revealed that young children laugh an average of 455 times per day vs. adults who laugh on average of 15 times per day!

 

So plant the happiness seed and give it sunshine, perhaps some rain and constant attention and watch it grow each and every day. Realize that through Yoga your body will be stronger, your mind sharper and your vision in life a bit more crisp!

 

 

FEBRUARY TO DO LIST:

 

1) Get 6-8 hours sleep/night!

 

2) Drink 2 liters H2O/day..every day.

 

3) Refuse to be around others who drag you down. Surround yourself with positive, high energy people, empowering people.

 

4 ) Be kind. Treat yourself and others with kindness when you eat, exercise, play, work, love &everything else.

 

5) Be at peace with everyone. You can only be in conflict if you participate. No one is capable of making you upset without your consent.

Smile and Laugh out Loud along the way.

Feb 11th        BEGINNERS BASICS YOGA WORKSHOP 10 – Noon ($25.00, pre-registration required)


Feb25 th        YOGA/CORE BOOTCAMP 10 – Noon ($20.00, pre-registration required)

 

April 4th       LIVE MUSIC WITH KELLIE LIN KNOTT &Allie 6:30-7:30 p.m.

COST: Drop-in -$12 or use your class package


May 9th      LIVE MUSIC WITH KELLIE LIN KNOTT &Allie 6:30-7:30 p.m.

**Pre-registration is required for workshops and full payment is required within the week of registration. Workshops are limited to a certain number of people. Student may cancel up to 48 hours before workshops. Workshops are subject to cancellation 48 hours in advance if registration is zero. Students must be 13 or older. All children 13-18 are require to have parental or guardian signature on registration/waiver form
