Class Descriptions
BEGINNER YOGA - BASICS
Great for beginners and all levels with emphasis on building a strong foundation for your yoga practice. Postures will be broken down into "baby steps" with an added bonus of extended focus on core strength.
ALL LEVELS ("HOT YOGA")
Standard 60 or 75 minute flow class (hot yoga) with emphasis on the foundational postures, deepening the student's knowledge of alignment and physical condition (blocks, straps, and other props provided). All levels of experience are welcome.
POWER HOUR ("HOT YOGA")
This Power Hour 60 minute class will take you to your edge - help you clarify, relax, focus, and concentrate. All levels are accommodated in this energetic and challenging class. It's not always about physical difficulty, but the degree of quietness, gentleness and sensitivity. Make it powerful by honoring what you're feeling and experiencing.
CORE AND MORE (a/k/a PILATES AND MORE)
A 60 minute class, toning the muscles of your mind and alternating abdominal with back strengthening and lengthening with hip opening postures to create a more toned, balanced and strong core area. Yoga is interlaced with this Pilates based class for a more relaxed and tension free experience.
